Topic A: Shipping Policy

How does your company ship the products I order and how long does it take?
We ship most of our products United Parcel Service (UPS). Sometimes we ship small items through the mail (parcel post). We also give you the option of Next Day, or Second Day Air service. Some items may ship directly from the manufacturer. We can give you an approximate ship time for your order, but shipments can vary. Most items ship out of APA Medical within 24 hours.

How much does shipping cost and how is it billed to us?
Shipping charges vary by item, item weight, distance and method of shipping. We can give you a estimate of shipping charges upon request. Shipping charges are calculated and added to your bill. You will not be required to pay a shipping agent separately (C.O.D. orders excluded).

Topic B: Payment Methods

What options do we have for payment?
We accept most types of payment methods. For institutional accounts, we will put you on account and bill you on a net 30 basis. For private party orders we accept: Visa - Master Card - Discover - American Express. We will need you number and expiration date upon the placing of your order. We can also accept check in advance. We will call you back with total charges and release your order when we receive your check. We can also ship C.O.D. There is an added $5.00 charge for C.O.D. orders. There is a $30 charge for returned checks.

What about Sales Tax?
We charge sales tax for residents of Minnesota and Ohio. For all other states we are not required to collect sales tax. Therefore, residents and facilities outside of these two states will not be charged sales tax.

Topic C: Returns

What if we are not satisfied with the product we order?
Any product that you order from us may be returned, unused, and in original packaging within 30 days for a full refund. Personal care items such as Commodes, Bath Benches or Toilet Risers are not returnable. **You will be responsible for all freight charges incurred**

What if the equipment we receive is defective or not what we ordered?
If you received a damaged or defective items, or if we have send you the wrong product, we will send a UPS pickup for the item(s) and replace or exchange the item(s) at no additional cost to you. Please call for return authorization.

Topic D: Products

How many products to you carry?
We carry a full line of durable medical equipment and more. What you see on our web page is only of fraction of what we show in our equipment catalog (please call to request your free catalog with price list). Our equipment catalog does not even show the full extent of what we carry. So if you don't see what you are looking for, please give us a call. We are continually updating both our on-line and our print catalog to include more products for your convenience.
